3. Scope of Application

This Privacy Policy applies to the processing of personal data carried out by the Controller through the Site www.technogymschool.com, as well as to the processing carried out through the same Site when accessed via QR codes distributed at in-person events and exhibitions (hereinafter, "Events"). Through the Site, users may also access Technogym's official website; for processing activities conducted through that website, please refer to the relevant privacy policy available at https://www.technogym.com/en-INT/privacy-policy/.This Privacy Policy does not apply to the processing of personal data carried out by third parties acting as independent data controllers, even where such parties may be reached via links, social buttons, or integrated content available on the Site.By way of example and without limitation, this category includes:social networking platforms (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn);providers of video-sharing or multimedia content services;other external platforms or services accessible via links from the Site.Any interaction by the user with such platforms (for example, by clicking on social buttons or viewing embedded content) entails the processing of personal data by the respective data controllers, in accordance with the privacy policies and terms of use independently established by each of them.The Controller exercises no control over processing activities carried out by such third parties and therefore invites users to review their respective privacy policies.

5. To Whom Do We Disclose Personal Data?

Your personal data may be disclosed to:

  • Technogym group companies;
  • competent authorities, where required by applicable law.
Third parties act as data processors or independent data controllers, as appropriate.

6. Transfers Outside the EU

Any transfer of personal data to third parties established outside the European Union is carried out in compliance with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), by adopting appropriate safeguards to legitimise the transfer to third countries.

7. How Long Do We Retain Personal Data?

Personal data are retained:
  • for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes for which they were collected;
  • for additional periods where required by statutory or regulatory obligations;
  • for the duration of the requested service;
  • until consent is withdrawn, in relation to profiling and marketing activities.

8. Minors

Participation in the Technogym Business School is reserved exclusively for individuals who have attained the age of majority.The Controller does not knowingly collect or process personal data of minors. Should data relating to minors be inadvertently transmitted, the Controller will proceed with their prompt deletion.

9. Data Subject Rights

The User has the right to know what personal data concerning him or her is being processed. In particular, the User has the right of access, rectification, and erasure, as well as the right to data portability, the right to restriction of processing, and the right to object to processing, where the relevant conditions are met. Where data are processed for marketing purposes, or on the basis of our legitimate interests, the User has the right to object at any time. The right of access

entitles the User to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him or her is being processed by Technogym and, where applicable, to obtain access to such data and to related information;The right to rectification entitles the User to obtain the correction of inaccurate personal data without undue delay and, taking into account the purposes of the processing, to obtain the completion of incomplete data;

The right to erasure

entitles the User to obtain the deletion of personal data without undue delay (for example, where the personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected), subject to the exceptions provided for under applicable law (for example, where retention of data is necessary in order to comply with a legal obligation applicable to the Controller);

The right to data portability

entitles the User, in certain circumstances provided for under applicable law, to receive the personal data concerning him or her, as provided to Technogym, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. Where permitted under applicable law, the User may transmit such data to another controller, unless doing so would risk prejudicing the rights and freedoms of others.

The right to restriction of processing

entitles the User, in certain circumstances provided for under applicable law, to obtain a restriction on the processing of his or her personal data. In such cases, Technogym may continue to process the User's data, but only under certain circumstances — for example, in order to exercise or defend legal claims, or to protect the rights of other natural or legal persons;

The right to object

to processing entitles the User, in certain circumstances provided for under applicable law, to object to the processing of personal data concerning him or her unless there are overriding legitimate grounds, rights, or freedoms that entitle Technogym to continue such processing.Where there are reasons connected to the User's specific situation, it is possible to object at any time to the processing of personal data based on a legitimate interest of Technogym or of a third party. In such cases, Technogym may no longer process the personal data unless it can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override the interests, rights, and freedoms of the User.The User may at any time lodge a complaint with the competent Data Protection Authority if he or she considers that the response received from Technogym regarding his or her rights was unsatisfactory, or that such rights have been infringed.Where personal data are shared with other parties that process them as independent data controllers, the User must exercise his or her rights vis-à-vis those controllers in accordance with the instructions set out in their respective privacy notices.
