COOKIE POLICY - www.technogymschool.com

Types of cookies

Under applicable law, the use of cookies requires the express consent of the user.

However, express consent is not required for “technical cookies” — i.e., those used solely to carry out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary to provide a service explicitly requested by the user. These are, in other words, cookies that are indispensable for the operation of the website or necessary to perform activities requested by the user.

Also equated with the technical cookies referred to above — and therefore not requiring express consent — are “performance cookies” where used directly by the website operator (so-called first-party or proprietary cookies) to collect information in aggregate form on the number of users and how they visit the website, or, where provided by third parties, where appropriate measures are adopted to reduce their identifying power (e.g. by masking significant portions of the IP address); and “functionality cookies”, which allow the user to browse according to a set of selected criteria (e.g. language) in order to improve the service provided.

With regard to Google Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4 – GA4), it should be noted that such cookies are installed exclusively with the prior consent of the user, collected through the appropriate consent management banner.

In the absence of consent, analytics cookies are not installed. Any statistical information may be used by the service provider (Google) exclusively in anonymous and aggregate form, including for the purpose of statistical modelling of conversions.

Managing Cookies Through Your Browser

Users may select which cookies to authorise through the procedure set up by the website, and may also authorise, block, or delete (in whole or in part) cookies through the specific functions of their browser.
Please note that if all or some cookies are disabled, the website may not be accessible, or certain services or functions may be unavailable or may not work properly.
For further information on how to set cookie preferences through your web browser, please refer to the relevant instructions:

First-party cookie management

With regard to first-party cookies — i.e., those sent directly by the operator of this website — users may make their choices from the website footer via the “Cookie Settings” tab, as well as through the specific functions of their browser.
The choices made by the user with respect to the website’s cookies will in turn be recorded in a dedicated technical cookie. However, in certain circumstances this cookie may not function correctly; in such cases, users are advised to delete any unwanted cookies and block their use through their browser’s features.
Cookie preferences will need to be reset if different devices or browsers are used to access the website.
Closing the banner by selecting the “continue without accepting” option means that the default settings will remain in place, and browsing will continue without cookies or other tracking tools other than technical ones.

General Provisions

Data collected through cookies will be retained according to their nature: session cookies expire when the user closes the browser; persistent cookies have typical expiry dates that, with some exceptions, do not exceed 20 days.
Such data will be processed exclusively within the scope of the purposes described above and may be disclosed to subsidiaries, parent companies, affiliates, or entities otherwise connected to Technogym S.p.A., as well as to public and private entities for the fulfilment of legal obligations.
Under no circumstances will the data be disseminated.
In compliance with the principles of proportionality and necessity, data will not be retained for periods longer than those strictly necessary for the achievement of the stated purposes.
At any time, users may exercise the rights provided for under Articles 15 et seq. of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, and may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
